As you know, Grace Slick of the "Jefferson Airplane planned on dosing Richard Nixon with "acid". Nixon's daughter was having a party at the White House and all of the girls who had graduated with her from college (I believe) were invited (Grace Slick was one of these). Tricky Dick was to be in attendance. Unfortunately Grace was stopped at the door because she was considered a dangerous element, so she didn't get to carry out her plan. By the way, The History Channel carried a wonderful program, "The History of LSD" and Slick tells the story there.
I guess a lot of people have speculated that a hit of acid might have changed Nixon for the better, but this story about Kahn diminishes that speculation. Of course, then the guy who made psilocybin mushrooms known to the US, Gordon Wasson, was pretty right-wing himself.
> I, of course, do not abuse drugs in any way.
Yeah, right. Me neither...I only smoke and chew herbal entheogens...which are not really drugs after all!
