Gloria Steinem to speak in Toledo

[I apologize for my out of sequence postings the past few weeks -- an lbo poster informed me that my computer clock was set for the year 2000. I think being out of the country this past summer (returning several weeks ago) must have put me through a time warp :)]

Well, Steve, she threatened to sue a publisher for libel which means she must have felt the written material was defamatory -- does that not point in the direction of slander? Anyway, she did issue a published statement about the accusations; I , however, was not able to locate it. Perhaps someone else can post it.
