I think Lou should have used somewhat less, shall we say flamboyant, language. But reading the figures you give suggests to me that your first generalized statements about the SWP were an interpretation which, in its flamboyance or forcefullness, your own figures don't quite justify. And you really were seriously mistaken about the SWP's strategy for the anti-war movement. As I have said, I disagreed with that strategy in many ways, but your version of it is seriously detached from the actuality. And since the general principles of that strategy (as I have explained them) are a matter of _current_ debate in the anti-globalization movement and in the embryonic anti-war movement, it is important to be clear on what they were. (The SWP itself has in the last two decades ceased to be a group worth attending to.)
