Because of my recently taken self-denying vow against bum-talking, I won't speculate on how easy or difficult it would be to carry out such an operation and get away clean with the cash. But I do regard myself as qualified to say that there were decent reasons to be short the insurers and airlines and long oil on Monday 10 September.
