firstly, i don't reject gatekeeping. i do reject what i see as an internal attempt on the part of some people enamored of leninism to enter into these discussions primarily because they want to set straight all the wayward leftists on LBO-talk and elsewhere. you, yourself, have even mentioned that you and yoshie have been waging a concerted campaign for years to teach doug the errors of his ways.
i find that kind of behavior and approach childish, at best.
as for your question, i already answered that. during the Gulf War we worked with folks enamored of conspiracy theories, though they mainly kept a lid on it. When one fellah got out of hand, we booted him. We have same thing here, now, I'm guessing, but I don't know for sure. Until we know for sure, booting them is inappropriate.
but, you know, we're not talking anything so vast in terms of differences. this conversation was sparked by the concern that people who advocated some form of justice, say a world wide legal tribunal, etc., were not really leftists... or something like that. that kind of gatekeeping, right now, that seems completely inappropriate.
