Well, if "we" truly have repented for "our" past sins, then that is one
thing. But if it is more of the same, where former allies become "enemies of
freedom" once their usefulness is past (and they begin to get in the way of
the program), then we are supporting an extension of imperial policies,
which I believe is the case here.
