<HTML>Did others hear Bessie Walsh's interruption of the Democracy Now broadcast this morning? All of a sudden Amy's broadcast went off the air, and on came Bessie who, in a righteous voice, denounced various acts of "violence" by anti-Pacifica protesters. The second act of violence in her litany was "perpetrated on the station manager of WBAI while she was attempting to interview a congressman." I am afraid that this gave it all away for me, as now the episode when Utrice Leid's interrupted the interview with Major Owens while it was on air is being presented as an act of violence against her. I imagine that there was some wrestling over the mike, and this is now going down as an act of violence by anti-Pacifica forces. The longer this goes on, the more I have to wonder if there is a good end to it.
