Far fetched, but interesting nonetheless.)</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>A US military source has revealed details of an internal intelligence memo that points to the Israeli Mossad intelligence agency having links with the September 11 World Trade Centre and Pentagon attacks. According to a report emanating from Canada, the intelligence source, who requested anonymity, has confirmed the internal US intelligence memo was circulated four weeks ago providing information that pointed to the threat of a covert Israeli operation on US soil to turn mass public opinion against Palestinian Arabs that would give Israel the green light to implement a large scale military onslaught against the Palestinian Arab population.<BR><BR>Irrespective of its credibility level, the report cannot be out-rightly ignored in view of the sophistication and precision with which Pentagon and the World Trade Centre were targeted. The creation of the terrorist network in the United States, maintenance of secrecy of terrorists’ training for years and the successful implementation of the September 11 operation obviously leave no doubt that it required military precision besides resources and logistics of an advanced intelligence agency to carry out the attacks. In addition, the attackers were supported to be extremely familiar with both air force and civilian aircraft operations, civilian airline flight paths and aerial assault tactics on sensitive US cities like Washington. The fact that all the four passenger planes of two different airlines, flying from different airports, were hijacked within 15 to 30 minutes and then crashed into the symbols of US military and economic power, amply projects that it cannot be job of any half baked terrorist outfit. The fact of the matter is that Osama bin Laden can hardly be conceived as articulate, efficient and capable of such a complicated operation. It is, therefore, imperative that the US agencies, which had, however, failed to detect plans of the terrorists attacks, to also analyse other possible culprits. The ground realities of the attacks, however, demand that hurried conclusions on the basis of any pre-conceived notions should be avoided, while fixing responsibility for Tuesday’s tragedy. Mossad is, however, the one intelligence agency in the world, which has the human and material resources as well as the capability of carrying out the operation. The possibility of Mossad’s involvement in the brutal attacks is substantiated with the exposure of the Jewish plans to establish Greater Israeli State, as the attacks has further alienated the American public against the Muslims and Arabs and evoked solid backing for Israel.
