As far as I can determine, the original source of this article is Debka, a sort of Stratfor of the Israeli far right, and World Trib is a right wing news site as well. So it might all just be a right wing wet dream. But it doesn't sound entirely implausible. It's not like the same exact thing didn't already happen once before.
