jks: talking about autobiographies of philosophers, have you read pkf's "killing time"? pretty lightweight for a book by a philosopher, intentionally so he says, and a great read.
and for something more interesting to this list: how about [anita?] feferman's biography of heijenoort, titled if i recall "from trotsky to gödel" (i guess after his own "from frege to gödel")? there's a person with a colourful life!
