Arendt doesn't think Nazism is reducible to Fascism (or Stalinism
to
Leninism for that matter).

Lewin, btw, wrote as well a book on the collectivization of agriculture in the fSU. Was supposed to have read it in Peter Kenez Soviet history class at UCSC...Kenez had been a student radical in Hungary in '56, has moderately menshevik views. Michael Pugliese
