Fundamentalists don't care about Jews as individuals, only about their role in establishing Israel as a precondition to apocalypse. Many in fact have argued that the Holocaust was merely part of god's plan in leading the Israelites back to their homeland-- in a Bible that regularly killed "every man woman and child", killing off a third of the Jews is pretty small beer with the payoff of eternal life.
