Sorry mbs, but the policy and Sweeney's knee-jerk support for Bush's war are both to the point. Can you imagine the outcry if he spoke at an antiwar or pro-Palestine rally? The pro-Likud faction in labor and among many Dems is more to the right of many Repubs. What's pathetic about this AFL regime is their attempts to act progressive and tough against Bush's domestic policies while providing absolutely zero leadership on critical issues of foreign policy.
