Moscow's anti-globalists unite
MOSCOW. April 20 (Interfax) - Moscow's anti-globalists on Saturday signed a
declaration on joining their efforts.
Speaking at the forum Vectors of Globalism, head of the Moscow branch of the
Russian Communist Party Alexander Kuvayev emphasized the need to set up an
organized anti-global movement in Russia.
An organized center of anti-globalism should be created in the world, and
"Russia could become this center today," Kuvayev said.
According to the declaration signed at the forum, its signatories committed
themselves "to maintaining contacts with each other, to taking part in
actions by forces opposing the new world order, and to helping each other
with resources they possess." The signatories, however, reserved the right
"to independently make decisions in each particular case."
In addition, the declaration reads that "a working group will be set up to
coordinate moves and to provide each other with information."
