Mrs. Shabnam Hashmi will talk about the recent genocidal atrocities committed against the Muslim community in Gujarat -- the home state of Mahatma Gandhi -- in India. She has spent the last few months in Gujarat interviewing the victims. Her talk will attempt to share the grief and pain of the genocidal victims and emphasize the need for interreligious tolerance and harmony to negate such incidents of religious hatred.
