For those whose memories do not go back to the early '70s, Socialist Review began life as Socialist Revolution, and for a while it was an exciting publication. It had a classic critique of Michael Lerner's style of work as a movement 'leader,' written, if I remember correctly, by several women who had worked in a mass anti-war mobilization he led up in some city in Washington or Oregon. It was an account that would give more bite to Joanna's response to Ben Day and her account of the domestic politics of her former husband. I'll see if I can dig up my old copy and give more detailed description.

I hadn't known it had gone out of business.
