Declan,
The Teamsters website already has a graphic proclaiming "Teamsters Support OPERATION TIPS" that links to a July 19, 2002 story headlined "Truckers May Help With National Security".

In general, I support the Teamsters and organized labor as a whole. Even though I am not a member, I walked picket lines alongside members of Local 104 in support of their 1997 strike against UPS.
If this rumor is true, I hope the union membership will oust Hoffa at the earliest possible opportunity as he is wasting time, energy and goodwill trying to curry favor with an administration that is sure to stab the Teamsters in their collective backs.
