i think you're confused as to the source of the infections, however. e.g, i have gotten UTIs when i had sex with a man for the first time. heh. as far as i know, you don't get infected from your own urine. you get infected from fecal matter, from wearing nylons and sweating, from holding your urine too long because of your job, etc.
