What IS it with Penguin?  The guy who wrote the intro to the previous 
edition of the Manifesto was a blue-blooded Tory, wasn't he?  Now this goof. 
  I don't know which sounds more gloating.

Do the people at Penguin who pick the writer of a classic's introduction 
have a strange sense of humour or do they just like to hear someone from 
"the other side" sounding off?  Maybe for the next edition of "The Wealth of 
Nations" they'll ask Chomsky or one of the Parentis to write the 
introduction . . . .
