NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Salomon Smith Barney's telecom analyst Jack Grubman resigned Thursday, according to Susan Thomson, a spokeswoman for Citigroup (C: news, chart, profile).
Grubman is currently under investigation by government agencies for potential conflicts of interest for stock recommendations on various companies whose share prices have since collapsed, including bankrupt telecom carrier WorldCom (WCOEQ: news, chart, profile).
