the sort of shopkeepers I'm referring to live off the value created by their own work. They may have no employer, but they will often have a landlord and a financial capitalist exploiting their labour.
What do they sell? Food that they grew themselves? Newspapers that they wrote the articles for and then printed themselves on machines that they themselves built? Cigarettes that they grew the tobacco for in their back yards and then rolled by hand using the paper that ....... Tahir
