Thanks for asking. Most of it's in our recent Redstockings compilation, Women's Liberation & National Health Care: Confronting the Myth of America (available from www.redstockings.org)

Briefly:

Boosters of neoliberalism point to the American 'model' and rely on the heavily hyped notion that the U.S. is number one in wages, standard of living, and health care. As part of this propaganda offensive, women here and around the world are told U.S. women are the most liberated. In fact, the lack of universal health care and other universal "social wage" or "citizen wage" programs here tracks women into unpaid care work and increases our overall dependence on men and employers. This presentation takes aim at the myth of America, building on work done by URPE, and explains how this myth-busting is being used in the ongoing struggle for universal health care.

Based on Redstockings new organizing sourcebook on this subject, Brown argues for the activist power of this new focus for the feminist movement... blah blah etc.
