Did I say anything about a "plan"? No, I didn't.

As Tom alluded to in a post several days ago, people are already engaged in a process of decentralization. This trend should accelerate as cities become more unlivable (like DC after 9 Code Red days this summer).

I like cities, but I understand a few things about capitalism and the current state of the planet's health, so it's not that radical to say that we'll need to decentralize if we want to actively improve our lives.

I'm not advocating a "plan" or calling for anybody to be forced to do anything. These are just words being put in my mouth by people who have no arguments in rebuttal.
