i corrected my quick gesture at the developmental fork in the road taken by
K and P. now that you've fleshed this out a bit more, i agree with this
take, too. lacan's not characterized as a post-structuralist for nuttin!
i was more interested in the question of whether a theoretical approach
will be inherently prone to conservative readings, initially. there seems
little interest in that topic.
