Richard Posner seems to get stupider every day

Principled thought does not matter nowl, nor did it matter for resolving Bush v. Gore. Why? Because the principles urge a course of action different from that demanded by raw political expediency.

It is not that he is "stupider," just that he has no shame.

Moreover, it appears that strict constructionism has less value to us now that the President wants to declare war. You see, the Constitution is a wonderfuul living document . . . . .
