'Bush more of a danger to economy'
NEW YORK: US president George W Bush poses a much greater threat to the world's economy than any candidate in Brazil, Nobel prize-winning US economist Joseph Stiglitz said in an interview published in daily O Globo.
"I think that Bush represents a much greater danger to the world's economic policy than any candidate in Brazil. If I had to choose between Bush and Lula (Brazilian presidential candidate Luiz Inacio "Lula" da Silva), I'd opt for Lula," Stiglitz said.
