can it be? CNN beat the lefty press to the punch in pointing out what 
we did already know, namely, that don nickles is really no better than 
lott on the race issue (or anything else). did i miss some atrios post 
lambasting nickles?

suggest that Trent Lott should be replaced as their leader, has built a 
civil rights voting record that is nearly identical to that of the man 
he would depose.

community. And in almost every case, their votes were contrary to the 
wishes of that community. "
