Well, they have a vested interest in dissing tactics that have drawn attention to the movement and have motivated many people to join it. The movement's image may have been tarnished in some quarters, but it has been enhanced in others.

Conversely, the anarchist movement isn't just a bunch of anarchists throwing rocks. Although that is fun on special occasions!
