In my admittedly meager second hand experience with polyamoury (sp?) and "open" relationships is that in the first instance someone always ends up sleeping on the floor and in the second that the relationship is in practice open for one partner, the better looking one.
People hurt themselves worse doing things with the approval of the state every day of the week, right?
