So why aren't you in jail?

CB: I realize this it was a long time ago , and things that long ago are oh so ..what is it , such a turn off for the youthful new lefties, but when the Nazis came to power in 1932, did they put everybody in jail immediately ? No. Did that mean they weren't Nazis in 1932 ? No.

Second point, would the best time to start calling out the Nazis have been before they started putting everybody in jail, or after ? Answer: once they start putting everybody in jail, it's too late.

These first two points would come under the category of not repeating the mistakes of history, learning from experience. In other words, don't wait as long as the German opposition did. That's learning from the German oppositions mistakes in order to do better this time.

Third point, the main crimes of the Nazis were crimes against peace, i.e. attacking other countries, not putting domestics is jail. So, I am specifically referring to the fact that the proclaimed aims of the Bush administration to carryout wholesale crimes against peace as The New Nazism.
