I am a recent curling addict, it is more like NFL football with the breaks between actions while hte teams conside ther next move. (Most people suggest chess, but that's a stretch the options in curling are usually 2 or 3 different possible moves, however unlike chess you have to be athletic enough to carry out your plan). So the action in curling can be, dare I say - downright thrilling. Besides, what's not to like about womens curling. A sport in which a bunch of women can be heard screaming, "Hurry!! Hurry harder!! Harder!! HARDER!! Usually followed by a meek, There. Thats great. Thanks!" :-) To tie into another thread bad girls = women curlers.

But if you want to worry about non-sports in the Olympics I should report that the Canadians did win gold in Bridge, a demonstration "sport" this year.
