Speakers: Julie Davis & Ron Khasawneh, American Civil Liberties Union

Julie Davis & Ron Khasawneh will discuss changing US immigration policies and their impacts on the rights and liberties of the foreign-born, as well as ACLU's "Know Your Rights" campaign.

Ron Khasawneh speaks Arabic -- feel free to ask questions in Arabic as well.

Immigration Facts: * There are over 150 million migrants in the world today. The United States receives less than 2% of the world's migrants on an annual basis. * As of March 2000, 10.4% of the U.S. population was foreign-born. By comparison, from 1870 to 1920, the foreign-born population made up approximately 15% of the total population.
