Cheney: "Only the U.S. can fight"

VP Cheney "offered a strong rebuttal" 2/15 to U.S. allies "who have
criticized" the WH's "aggressive stance toward Iraq." Cheney, speaking at
the Council on Foreign Relations, said the U.S. "would not be dissuaded by"
int'l criticism: "Only we can rally the world in a task of this complexity
against an enemy so elusive and so resourceful. The United States and only
the United States can see this effort through to victory" (New York Times).
