Money drop prompts scuffles in Afghanistan
American aircraft have scattered $100 bills tucked into envelopes bearing a picture of President George W Bush over Southern Afghanistan.
Witnesses say minor scuffles broke out when some of the envelopes were carried by the wind to the Pakistan border town of Chaman.
Southern Afghanistan used to be a stronghold of the former Taliban government.
In recent weeks, US aircraft have also dropped leaflets over the area depicting Taliban supreme leader, Mullah Mohammed Omar as a dog, held on a leash by Osama bin Laden.
