Oh god, I had to sit on my hands to avoid ranting at everyone about how contractors are ones to talk. They went it alone, bold brave individuals taking advantage of a hot IT market and playing it for all its worth in order to get the best pay possible. Well, if you love the market, then live with the consequences because this is it baby: market discipline at your service only now the disciplinary paddle is aimed at your lone self, not the employer. Have we heard of unions? Buttttttt, no..... contractors would turn up their noses and sniff about how FT employment and unions and such create deadwood. THEY'RE contractors: independent, cutting edge, better than the rest, etc.etc.etc. >>
I may be stating the obvious but this is where Wile E. Coyote runs off the cliff and hangs in mid air before waving bye bye to the cartoonist and the rest of us. Someone should have asked these characters why everybody dosen't just hang up a shingle. mcapri
