Anybody on the list know why it is up to the FBI to investigate Computer
Associates? Is this to make sure financial regulation and oversight are
handled the way the prevention of terrorism was? Rhetorical question for the
day.

Here is the link to a Hoover's profile of Carlyle Group--the investment firm
where your money isn't welcome unless you have at least tens of millions to
place.

It's about the only free thing of value you will find at Hoover's online.
Still, since it isn't investigative reporting but rather a pro-company
description, it actually has more info. I'd disseminate the whole thing, but
Hoover's threatens legal action.
