Yes, especially South Africa (where the red carpet was rolled out for FDI
and we got NEGATIVE net FDI since 1994), and South Korea (which kept FDI
well OUT of the country until the disastrous OECD-joining in1990), and
everywhere inbetween, no? Just ask our Argentine readers what FDI via
privatisation did to them!
