Oh, come on. They're just playing a little mindwar with Saddam. In a real crisis, when the chips are down, Al Gore and Leon Fuerth would be neither more nor less likely to drop the big one than Bush and Condi.
As I recall, the United States actually did once use nuclear weapons against a non-nuclear state and I don't believe it was under a Republican president.
