Here, here. Especially after he just got beat up. I think his analogical overstatement is better explained by psychic compensation than anything else -- a spontaneous exaggeration designed to suppress his immediate, understandable and ideologically embarrassing fear and rage at these people. Can't be easy to write copy under those circumstances. He didn't file again for 2 weeks.
