Id like to believe this will happen. But what I think I and the rest of the world will see and hear on the voice of reaction media is that demonstrators are desecrating the graves of WTC victims, especially cops and firemen. Woe betide anyone near the first cop hit with a nightstick, pepper spray or, god forbid, bullets. A lynching of demonstrators by a mob of NYPD supporters would likely follow.
I think some in NYC may understand that you mean no disrespect, but I suspect your chances of being able to express that message and make the link between rabid market driven ideologies and Enron is approaching zero.
All the same, good luck. Some of us in the frozen north will be watching the meetings and the demos with a slightly more critical eye.
