I don't see any contradiction. Maybe I am dense. I never said that there was no place for him at Pacifica. To the best of my knowledge, he has not been told so by Pacifica.
However, he may have so soured relations that there may indeed by no place for him. Think of the examples of the star athlete (I am not calling him a star) who is so disruptive of a team that nobody wants him.
I prefer Dennis Rodman's performance to Cooper's.
