The globalisation debate: Your questions

The debate is renewed on globalisation, as the World Economic Forum gets into gear in New York. For many, the globalisation question is whether it is capitalism at its most evil, or a promising way to reduce poverty.

Supporters say globalisation is a force for good, but many opponents feel it is a charade for big business to exploit poor countries.

Is globalisation the best way forward for the world economy? Or does it keep developing countries under the thumb of the wealthy?

There will be a live Forum on Friday at 1345 GMT with Vernon Ellis, international Chairman of the management consultancy Accenture. Mr Ellis is also a member of the Council of the World Economic Forum meeting in New York. He will be joined by Bill Jordan, the general secretary of the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions (ICFTU). Use the post form below to send your questions to them.
