July 1, 2002 -- Plenty of folks dress President Bush down, but now you can dress him up - the first family has been turned into a collection of paper dolls. Artist Tom Tierney has published a 36-page book, "George W. Bush and His Family - Paper Dolls," which begins with the president and his wife, Laura, standing in their underwear.
Sporting a big grin, the president shows off a pair of white briefs and a pair of black cowboy boots, with his hands coyly folded over his groin.
Laura is next to him in a blue, knee-length slip.
Tierney then provides pages and pages of outfits from formalwear to beach casual for you to tape on them. Among the duds are the couple's 1977 wedding-day get-ups.
One of Dubya's more rugged outfits makes him look like a strapping oilman: bluejeans with red-and-gold belt buckle, brown, denim shirt and a 10-gallon hat.
One of his funnier ensembles is a classic black tuxedo with the pants legs tucked into a pair of knee-high, gray cowboy boots that have the outline of Texas on them.
The bad-girl Bush daughters, Barbara and Jenna, are depicted in three stages - first as babies in jeans and white polo shirts.
Then they're seen as little girls, with Barbara in a pleated, gray skirt and white V-neck and Jenna in a blue-and-red-striped dress with matching red top.
Finally, the pair are seen as sexy teenagers in form-fitting evening gowns, Barbara's a low-cut, ankle-length, red number and Jenna's a strapless, black ensemble with purple flower petals.
Unlike her daughters, Laura doesn't show off any cleavage, sticking to more conservative, but equally stunning, formalwear.
The first lady also has several attractive gray pantsuits and a knee-length, baby-blue coat with black fur trim that would have made Jackie Kennedy envious.
