Morris Regrets Advice to Clinton
"One of the only things I regret about advice I gave Bill Clinton was to oppose gay marriage," political commentator Dick Morris, who was President Clinton's political advisor during his first term, told me at a recent Washington, D.C. appearance. "I believe we should do anything we can to promote stable families," he added. Appearing at a breakfast sponsored by The Hill newspaper, Morris also forecast that the gay movement will achieve virtually all of its goals. "It's inevitable - gay marriage, gay adoption, all of that." The Fox News political analyst based his projection on trends in public opinion. "The demographics of antigay sentiments is an older demographic. Younger people don't buy them."
