I'm not sure that consistent individualists would see it in their best interests to form communist (or any other) "structures" without seriously undermining their individualism.

Stirner formulated his radical individualism before corporate capitalism existed. It still didn't really exist at the end of the nineteenth century, but Oscar Wilde wrote _The Soul of Man under Socialism_ and argued that capitalism destroyed *individuality* (a very different concept to Stirner's petty bourgeois concept). I think it's time to resurrect Wilde's critique of capitalism as a destroyer of individuality and promoter of individualism.
