My original issue wasn't so much about Cuba but why the US has suffered the
Castro regime to live all these years, esp. after the SU bit the dust.   I
think I got some good answers...not worth the blood and gold and bad PR to
swat it, just let it starve, esp since the Cubans will likely resist any
invasion like nearly 12 million crazed Rottweillers raised to pit-fight.
I'd bet most of even those who would like to blow Fidel's pop stand would be
at the barricades.
It's their home.
