No, it's just that US neoliberalism, a.k.a. cannibal capitalism, is eating itself. The baleful spell or bane of the Wall Street Bubble is dissolving in front of everyone's eyes ("all that is sacred is profaned" -- and there's nothing more profane in late capitalism than negative ROE).
What comes next: service sector socialism, as all those pension funds, endowments, charities and all the other infrastructures which dampened dissent for so long, turn, with classic dialectical irony, into hotbeds of subversion.
That, and a mongo Euro-bailout.
