They only charge for traffic, not technical interventions. (By the way, the Panix list techie is Malgosia Askanas, whom veterans may recognize as one of the spoons collective.)

I think Kelley's right that people who don't post are quiet because they want to be. But if I'm wrong, and there are any lurkers out there who feel too shy or intimidated to say something, please contact me offlist and we can work out some kind of affirmative action program.

When I'm at a public forum calling on questioners, I follow the URPE rule that all efforts should be made to prevent two white men from speaking consecutively. That's not feasible here, but please, if you're from one of the traditionally shy demographics, speak up!
