A good paper by Dave Renton on Albert Einstein and Socialism in a recent issue of, "Rethinking Marxism, " cited a book by a Helena Sheehan on marxism and the philosophy of science. See her website, http://www.dcu.ie/~comms/hsheehan/mxphsc.htm

A series by the same publisher of the Sheehan book, Humanities Press, "Issues in Marxist Philosophy, "that had 3 or 4 volumes in the 70's and early 80's, edited by David Mepham, is also worth finding in the stacks.
