President Bush chose the World Pork Expo as a backdrop to celebrate the anniversary of last year's big tax-cut law and to urge the Senate to permanently repeal the estate tax. Exactly one year after he signed into law his centerpiece 10-year, $1.35 trillion tax package, Bush was traveling to Des Moines, Iowa, to make the case before a friendly audience of tax relief-loving farmers that eliminating the inheritance tax would bolster the nation's economic recovery, spokeswoman Claire Buchan said . . .
